Scope and Content

Sr. Mary Charlotte and Merton make arrangements for an exhibition of Merton's abstract drawings at Catherine Spalding College, their sale to benefit African American scholarships at Catherine Spalding and Bellarmine Colleges, and transfer of the exhibit to Xavier University in New Orleans. Merton also sends some items for the college library.

Biography

Sr. Mary Charlotte was President of Catherine Spalding College in Louisville (now known as Spalding University) and was a Sister of Charity of Nazareth.
