Scope and Content

Merton responds to information that John H. Yoder sends about the variety in Catholic positions on war. Merton points out factors that seem to leave no arguments for a "just war" theory. He mentions new trends against war in the Second Vatican Council and some who have reacted against Pope John XXIII and these anti-war sentiments.
