Scope and Content

Merton responds to a priest concerned about the Catholic Church's stand on such issues as birth control. Merton expresses that we should not too narrowly get wrapped up in a single issue, but that he shares frustration in being silenced on nuclear war. He also expresses a shared concern with the Protestant clergy with whom he speaks in regards to South America.
