Patrick Hart sends with this letter, the anonymous letter of donation, the form filled out by Merton with his typed and signed addendum, CV and list of books published, and the following clippings from his writings - "Day of a Stranger," "The Drawings of Thomas Merton" with "A Note by the Artist" and "A Note (and Poem) by Mark Van Doren on Thomas Merton," "The Monk Today," and "Cables to the Ace."
