Rev. Maurice O'Connor had asked Cecil DeMille about the possiblity of making The Seven Storey Mountain into a motion picture. The file includes DeMille's reponse and another letter thanking Gethsemani Abbey's abbot, Dom James Fox, for the monastic community's prayers for the film, The Ten Commandments.
