1967/05/26 TALSto MertonI regret having to write like this, interrupting your own work. I am the person who is translating  difficulties in working with Joe Cunneen on the project and suggested changes for Merton to inspect / Dan Walsh's ordination
1967/06/21 TL[c]from MertonI am terribly sorry to have ignored your letter for so long. To tell the truth, as you can well  many places where Merton agrees with Cuddihy that Cunneen's changes have change the original meaning in the translation, but other places where Cunneen seems to help the reader - new translator [Elizabeth Hughes?] - Merton's opinion that the book should not be translated / Dan Walsh's ordination
