Notes: Brown, hand-knitted, crew neck sweater. The sweater visually matches a photograph taken by Ed Rice, seemingly taken in January of 1966 based on letters with Rice and Merton's Aunt Kit (Agnes Merton), who knitted Merton some sweaters. Merton sent Aunt Kit a photograph of him in one of her sweaters in December of 1966 as mentioned in a letter.
