Who is Angelo Roncalli?

Angelo Roncalli is the birthname of Pope John XXIII, the "Good Pope". He radically changed the face of the Catholic Church in the 20th Century by calling the meeting of the Second Vatican Council in 1962. The result of the Second Vatican Council, which unfortunately, Pope John XXIII was not alive to see, produced changes in the Catholic Liturgy, Faith Formation and Thought, and a stronger emphasis on ecumenism, and a new approach to the world.
