Miscellaneous E.1 Merton, Thomas, 1915-1968; unpublished Recommends breathing and postures which to help prepare for prayer and produce "a favorable climate for these moral dispositions": "non-violence, sincerity, abstinence, poverty, contentment, chastity." Without mentioning yoga, it seems to be largely taken from a form of yoga and uses some of the same names for poses, such as dolphin and tree. Found among letters between Merton and Randall de Trinis (formerly Fr. Sebastian, OCSO) in Sub-Section H.7. Likely authored by Merton but unsigned. «detailed view» -->
