Quotation | I like Karl Stern's new book [The Flight of Woman] very much indeed. I am finishing it now, and have enjoyed it all the way throught. The theme is most important and he treats is very well, with all his usual insight. I am very glad he has written it, and hope he will be understood, though I don't know what people are going to do about it. That reminds me: he mentions [Paul] Evdokimov, on the theology of woman: it is a marvelous book, and if it has not yet been translated into English, I recommend it. |
