| Quotation | I have been over these proofs [of Last of the Fathers]... I made two significant and rather long additions - two and three pages. They were necessary - one on the book De Consideratione, which I had not treated at all, the other on St. Bernard's Marialogy. Second I have gone over the Encyclical text and tried to put it in prober English... I feel as you do that it is a great tragidy that Papal documents are presented to the English-speaking people in English worthy of a well-educated Chinese. |
