This correspondence concerns an exhibit of Merton's art work at Catherine Spalding College. The president of the college, Sr. Mary Charlotte, put Landes in charge of the arrangements. The file also contains a copy of a letter from Landes to Sr. M. Lurana, S.B.S. of Xavier University and a copy of a letter to Merton's friend and poet Robert Lax.
Aloys Landes was Director of Development for Catherine Spalding College in Louisville, Kentucky.
