Translator. 1963 Emblems of a season of fury Translations from Spanish to English of the following poems by Alfonso Cortés: "La canción del espacio" ("Space Song"), "The Flower and the Fruit, "La gran plegaria" ("Great Prayer"), "The Three Sisters", "Almas sucios" ("Dirty Souls"), "Organ", "Air", "Aegeas in Prison", "Sundown", and "When You Point Your Finger". "Almas sucios" ("Dirty Souls") and "Organ" did not appear in Emblems but were later reproduced in The Collected Poems of Thomas Merton.
